Mud Lake this morningI took a couple of hours to head to Mud Lake this morning. Mud Lake is a bird sanctuary in the city of Ottawa, down by the river near the filtration plant. On any day you will see a wide variety of birds and other wildlife some of whom are quite tame and others who can be very illusive. I was fortunate to day to have the chance to see young birds being fed by their parents and a Great Blue Heron fishing. I met a large number of bird watchers and other photographers, some very talented.
